Kikiam and Fishball

Updated: Oct 26, 2020

These two are also Street Foods usually found in school canteens or sold by street vendors. Both of these can be made or cooked either homemade or pre-made and ready to be fried.

Fishball or fish ball, as the name states, is made of shredded fish and occasionally mixed with other condiments such as salt, sugar, cornstarch, pepper, flour and occasionally with diced onions, pepper and/or other condiments and is fried until done.

Kikiam on the other hand is said to be made of ground pork and wrapped in what is said to be bean curd sheets and is fried till crispy or until brown.

Both of these are eaten with either spicy or sweet sauce and it can be sometimes eaten with rice or depending on your preference.
